A square yellow Banko-yaki bonsai pot.

The simple shape is complemented by the warm, deep shade of yellow, giving it a soft and inviting presence.
Plant your favorite bonsai in this pot and let it welcome the coming of spring.

Since each item is individually handmade, there may be differences in appearance and feel from product to product. Please understand this beforehand.

This is Banko-yaki. Banko-yaki is a type of pottery produced mainly in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture. It originated in the middle of the Edo period (1603-1868) and was named after the wish that the work would remain forever. "Ban" means "everything." "Ko" means "months and days gone by." In addition to bonsai pots, it is also resistant to fire, such as kyusu (teapots) and earthenware pots.
