これは信楽焼です。信楽焼は滋賀県甲賀郡周辺を中心に生産されている焼き物です。大型の陶器を得意とし、昔は火鉢がよく作られていました。現代では植木鉢や花器、手洗い鉢なども多く生産されています。また、信楽焼と言えば狸の置物が全国的・世界的に有名となっています。
