Naginowa Shigaraki Ware Bekkou Chamfered Japanese Bonsai Pot
This is a Shigaraki ware bonsai pot.
This pot has an unusual design, rugged like the surface of a rock.
You can feel the surface texture by touching it, and of course, the appearance conveys its ruggedness, so we recommend using it as a pot or displaying it as an interior decoration. It will add a cool spice to a room, especially in a modern atmosphere.
Since each item is individually handmade, there may be differences in appearance and feel from product to product. Please understand this beforehand.
This is Shigaraki ware. Shigaraki ware is a pottery produced mainly in the area around Koga County, Shiga Prefecture. Shigaraki is good at making large ceramics, and in the past, hibachi (brazier) was often made. In modern times, flowerpots, vases, and washbasins are also produced in large quantities. Shigaraki ware is also famous throughout Japan and the world for its Tanuki (raccoon dog) figurines.
