A beautiful bonsai pot with a glossy indigo finish.

Not only is it visually striking, but its slightly larger size makes it ideal for beginners as well.
If you're just starting out with bonsai but still want a pot with character, this is a wonderful choice.

Of course, experienced bonsai enthusiasts looking for something a bit more distinctive will also enjoy this pot — it’s sure to make your bonsai look even more radiant.

Since each item is individually handmade, there may be differences in appearance and feel from product to product. Please understand this beforehand.

This is Banko-yaki. Banko-yaki is a type of pottery produced mainly in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture. It originated in the middle of the Edo period (1603-1868) and was named after the wish that the work would remain forever. "Ban" means "everything." "Ko" means "months and days gone by." In addition to bonsai pots, it is also resistant to fire, such as kyusu (teapots) and earthenware pots.
