Naginowa black terracotta BANKO Ware Japanese Bonsai Pot 3.5in.

Sale price$50.00

As its name suggests, this black flowerpot has a rough, earthy texture.

Although the pot has a surface texture, its black appearance makes it stylish and does not disturb the atmosphere of the room.

It is so simple that it will look great with any plants other than bonsai.

Since each pot is individually handmade, there may be differences in appearance and feel from product to product. Please understand this beforehand.

This is Banko-yaki. Banko-yaki is a type of pottery produced mainly in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture. It originated in the middle of the Edo period (1603-1868) and was named after the wish that the work would remain forever. "Ban" means "everything." "Ko" means "months and days gone by." In addition to bonsai pots, it is also resistant to fire, such as kyusu (teapots) and earthenware pots.
