Naginowa Black right angle BANKO Ware Japanese Bonsai Pot 6.4in.

Sale price$70.50

This rectangular bonsai pot has a simple design.

Because of its long horizontal shape, it would be tasteful to plant a bonsai at the edge and add a twist by bending the trunk with a wire.

It is recommended to plant plants not only for bonsai but also as a regular flowerpot for interior decoration.

As each piece is handmade, there may be differences in appearance and feel from product to product. Please understand this beforehand.

This is Banko-yaki. Banko-yaki is a type of pottery produced mainly in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture. It originated in the middle of the Edo period (1603-1868) and was named after the wish that the work would remain forever. "Ban" means "everything." "Ko" means "months and days gone by." In addition to bonsai pots, it is also resistant to fire, such as kyusu (teapots) and earthenware pots.
