A set of two slightly larger bonsai pots in sizes 6 and 7.5.

It’s rare to find large bonsai pots with a matte, non-glossy finish.
The subdued texture gives off a quietly refined look, making these pots a perfect fit for Japanese-style rooms with tatami or a serene, traditional atmosphere.

If you’re looking to give your bonsai a bit more room to grow, consider repotting it in these pots — ideal for both indoor and outdoor displays.

Since each item is individually handmade, there may be differences in appearance and feel from product to product. Please understand this beforehand.

This is Banko-yaki. Banko-yaki is a type of pottery produced mainly in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture. It originated in the middle of the Edo period (1603-1868) and was named after the wish that the work would remain forever. "Ban" means "everything." "Ko" means "months and days gone by." In addition to bonsai pots, it is also resistant to fire, such as kyusu (teapots) and earthenware pots.
