Our Shipping PolicyThis interesting bonsai pot has four corners that seem to be bent outward.
It looks as if the heads of four cobras are facing in different directions.
The wide mouth makes it a unique and enjoyable way to display not only plants, but also as a small container for interior decoration.
Since each item is individually handmade, there may be differences in appearance and feel from product to product. Please understand this beforehand.
This is Banko-yaki. Banko-yaki is a type of pottery produced mainly in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture. It originated in the middle of the Edo period (1603-1868) and was named after the wish that the work would remain forever. "Ban" means "everything." "Ko" means "months and days gone by." In addition to bonsai pots, it is also resistant to fire, such as kyusu (teapots) and earthenware pots.
