The little things of everyday life at NAGINOWA

Hello, everyone.

This is NAGINOWA staff.

Here in Tokyo, where NAGINOWA is based, pollen is flying energetically again today.

Yes, that dreaded season has arrived once more.

I feel like I just wrote a blog about pollen recently, but it was actually a year ago.

We are truly grateful that NAGINOWA has been in operation for about two years now.

This is entirely thanks to our valued customers who support NAGINOWA.

Well, what kind of blog post should I write today... Honestly, I haven't decided yet (lol).

All I really have to write about is how miserable the pollen is—that's the kind of peaceful daily life I'm living.

How have you all been lately?

Oh yes, that Pyracantha bonsai we repotted earlier—the one all the NAGINOWA staff dote on—has grown so much again that it's become quite unmanageable. I think it's time to repot and prune it once more.

I'd love to see the bonsai of NAGINOWA's customers too. What kinds of bonsai do they have?

By the way, I personally love zelkova bonsai. I still remember the awe I felt when I saw a zelkova bonsai during a trial session at a bonsai class.

The bonsai instructor told me, “Try looking up from below. You'll feel as if you've shrunk and entered that world, won't you?” And indeed, in that moment, I felt a strange illusion—as if I had shrunk and was now looking up at this enormous zelkova tree. That instant felt like a wonderful moment. I felt a warm feeling, as if I knew this scene, as if it were nostalgic.

I find myself thinking that someday, I'd like to try growing a zelkova bonsai myself.

Somehow I ended up rambling on about myself.
