Basic Bonsai Growing Method -Placement

Bonsai are basically kept outdoors.
It can be appreciated indoors, but after enjoying it indoors for about 3 days in summer and 1 week in winter, it should be placed outdoors and exposed to sunlight for 4 to 5 hours a day.

When incorporating bonsai into an interior, it is a good idea to rotate several different types of bonsai every three days.
(For example, if you have three bonsai, one to display indoors and two to grow outdoors; after three days, move the indoor one outdoors and one of the two that were grown outdoors indoors, and so on, you can enjoy the bonsai as part of your indoor decor every day!)

In summer, avoid harsh western sunlight.
If you have no other choice but to use a place where the sun shines in the west, use a 50% shading net.
Shade nets are available at gardening stores and home centers.

Place the tree on a wooden stand or board, as concrete or stone tops are not good for the tree due to heat and cold from the sun's rays.
Also, poor ventilation will affect pests and tree growth, so place the tree as high as possible to allow air circulation.

It gets hot in the summer, so care should be taken when placing it on materials that heat up.
If you enjoy viewing indoors, it will look more stylish if you pay attention to the paving board as well.

How was it?
Even if you don't have a place to put a bonsai in your garden, you can make it grow lively just by putting a small piece of wood in the corner of your balcony.

The key point is to avoid placing the bonsai directly on concrete.
If you are thinking of starting a bonsai, please be sure to prepare for it.
