Basic Bonsai Growing Method -Fertilizer-

In this article, we will teach you how to fertilize your bonsai.
While fertilizer is important for bonsai, too much is not good.

Since bonsai are planted in small pots with little soil and because they are watered frequently, nutrients tend to flow easily, so it is necessary to nourish them with fertilizer.
Without fertilizer, the flowers will not bloom and the leaves will turn yellow.

Fertilizer should be applied from April to November (spring through fall). In midwinter, when the trees are dormant, fertilizer can be a burden.

The recommended fertilizer is Biogold. It is especially recommended for apartment dwellers, as it has little odor characteristic of fertilizer and is not easily crushed.
It comes in granular form with a diameter of about 10 cm, so place about 5 pieces on the edge of the pot. Smaller pots should have less, while larger pots should have more.
Place fertilizer on top of the pot away from the base of the tree.
It will dissolve with each watering, so place it again when it runs out, which should be after a month.

If fertilizer has caused growth problems, stop fertilizing and return to watering only.
Too much nutrition is not good for the plant.

Please observe your bonsai and fertilize it appropriately and enjoy it.
I wish you all a good bonsai life!
