Shigaraki ware sake cup. It is recommended to use it in a set with a pouring vessel of the same design.

Like the pouring vessel in the set, the pale reflections are beautiful, as if you are looking at the surface of water, making you feel as if you are looking at a work of art rather than a piece of tableware.

How about adding these wonderful sake cups to your dining table, which reflect your heart and snuggle up to you in times of happiness and sadness?

Since each sake cup is individually handmade, there may be differences in appearance and feel from product to product. Please understand this beforehand.

This is Shigaraki ware. Shigaraki ware is a type of pottery produced mainly in the area around Koga County, Shiga Prefecture. Shigaraki is good at making large ceramics, and in the past, hibachi (brazier) was often made. In modern times, flowerpots, vases, and washbasins are also produced in large quantities. Shigaraki ware is also famous throughout Japan and the world for its raccoon dog figurines.
