These chopsticks are inspired by "kasaneiro," a color scheme for clothing that originated in the Heian period (794-1185). They are dishwasher-safe, and the chopstick tips are coated with a non-slip coating.
The "Benibe-omi" chopsticks are a combination of "benibe" (red plum) and "usubenibe" (light red plum) in a gorgeous, spring-like pink color. It was worn in winter and spring.
