Today's staff blog
Hello, this is NAGINOWA staff.
As summer is approaching in earnest, I would like to once again inform you about the watering of bonsai.
During the hot summer months from about June to October, water twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening.
In spring, from March to May, water once in the morning.
During the cold winter months from November to February, watering once every two days is sufficient. If you water too much, it may cause root rot.
Well, it's almost June; don't be caught off guard and start watering now or even in the evening on hot days.
When watering, give plenty of water to the soil at the base of the plant. Sometimes sprinkle it on the leaves as well.
If the soil is dark brown or covered with moss, water it a lot until the moss turns dark green.
The key point here is that you should not water with a misting spray.
You can use a watering can or an empty plastic bottle.
Use a product that can spray a lot of water at once, such as a watering can or an empty plastic bottle, because water cannot penetrate deep into the roots with a mist. Please keep this in mind.
Well, now that you have learned about watering your bonsai in preparation for the coming hot, hot summer, let's call it a day.
While you find this blog, I hope you will also take a look at NAGINOWA's Japanese bonsai pots, which we are very proud of.
These high quality Japanese pots will elevate your bonsai to the next level.
See you soon.
