A collaboration between that famous Japanese character and old-fashioned sweets!

Hello, this is NAGINOWA staff.
I would like to share with you some snacks that were my work companion this week.

Briefly, it is a candy.
They are Sakuma Drops, a famous candy with a long history in Japan.
As its limited package, it was collaborated with Doraemon!
Doraemon drawn with a retro touch is on both sides, and just looking at it is relaxing.

This package is a can package, which is rare nowadays. Therefore, the candy is a little bit special.
There are 8 different flavors of candy inside.
There are apple, orange, strawberry, lemon, pineapple, mint, plum, and melon flavors.

Incidentally, they are slightly different from the drops in the Studio Ghibli movie "Grave of the Fireflies.
The drops in “Grave of the Fireflies” are called “Sakuma-style drops,” which is one letter different.
However, the recipe is almost the same, and there are two different flavors.
Sakuma-style drops come in the following flavors: apple, orange, strawberry, lemon, pineapple, mint, grape, and chocolate, as well as grape and chocolate flavors.

As to why there are two types, that's a long story and I may tell it eventually.
